"Where every meal comes with a view."

Our Story

Shared Plates, Shared Stories

Sailor Jack’s is Benicia’s premier destination for seafood with a California twist, nestled along the scenic Carquinez Strait. Our seasonally inspired menu offers something special for every occasion, from lunch and dinner to weekend brunch. Named in homage to Jack London, the famed author who lived nearby, our dining experience pairs perfectly with a curated selection of fine wines and signature cocktails, also available in our cozy upstairs bar.

Housed in a beautifully restored sea captain’s home from 1868, Sailor Jack’s offers a unique waterfront setting in Solano County. Enjoy two floors of dining with expansive views, including outdoor seating right by the water.

MEET STEVE JENNETT POSSIBLY THE LONGEST SERVING BARTENDER IN BENICIA'S HISTORY

Steve Jennett, the bar manager and bartender at Sailor Jacks, has a unique distinction. He may be the longest-surviving bartender in Benicia’s history.

He has worked at the First Street waterfront restaurant for 33 years. Add in nine more years of tending bar at two other popular Benicia establishments prior to that, and you have a man who has arguably poured more drinks to more thirsty Benicians than any other.
